В Астане осветили красным цветом «Байтерек» и здание «Ханшатыр»

В рамках Всемирного дня памяти людей, умерших от СПИД по иницитативе Центра по профилактике ВИЧ-инфекции г.Астаны при поддержке Акимата столицы, вечером, 21 мая 2023 года, монумент «Байтерек» и здание ТРЦ «Ханшатыр» были освещены красным цветом. Именно лента красного цвета, выбранная около 40 лет назад как символ борьбы со СПИД, стала постоянной символикой поддержки и солидарности с людьми, затронутыми эпидемией ВИЧ во всем мире. Также, в эти дни, на одном из высоких зданий столицы - здании АО «Қазақстан темір жолы» с целью повышения осведомленности жителей транслировались видеоролики по мерам профилактики ВИЧ. Главным призывом Дня памяти людей, умерших от СПИД является привлечение внимания населения к вопросам профилактики ВИЧ, искоренения стигмы, недопущения дискриминации людей, живущих с ВИЧ, а также расширение доступа к антиретровирусному лечению и медицинской помощи

«Baiterek» and «Khanshatyr» building were illuminated in red in Astana

As part of the World Day of Remembrance of People who Died of AIDS on the initiative of the Center for HIV Prevention in Astana with the support of the Mayor's Office of the capital, in the evening, on May 21, 2023, the monument «Baiterek»  and the building of the shopping center «Khanshatyr»  were illuminated in red. The red ribbon, chosen about 40 years ago as a symbol of the fight against AIDS, has become a permanent symbol of support and solidarity with people affected by the HIV epidemic around the world. Also, these days, videos on HIV prevention measures were broadcast on one of the tall buildings of the capital - the building of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC in order to raise awareness of residents. The main appeal of the Day of Remembrance of People who Died of AIDS is to draw the attention of the population to the issues of HIV prevention, elimination of stigma, non-discrimination of people living with HIV, as well as expanding access to antiretroviral treatment and medical care
